Mother's Day

I found this in newspaper that I would like to share.

When I was wrapped up in a blanket,
Tucked cosily in a little basket,
She sang to me a lullaby,
Until I finally closed my eyes.

When I started to toddle,
Across the floor I tottered and wobbled,
She held me by my little two hands,
Until the day I could firmly stand.

When I started going to school,
When I was lost in a new world without a clue,
She brought me to class and would not depart,
Until I knew the school by heart.

When I was in a total mess,
Sitting in a corner all depressed,
She gently pulled me into her arms,
Until I was better, until I was calm.

When I left for university,
And had to move to a foreign city,
She went with me and settled me down,
Until Ikew my ways around.

She cradled me then when I was a baby,
Now in front of her she sees a young lady,
Then I used to crawl on my little tummy,
Now I look just like my mummy.

My mummy, she is the finest,
My mummy, she is marvellous,
Then, now and forever, she always is the best,
I love you mummy, my mummy dearest.
